EXPERTS UPHOLD THE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER FOR A CITY FOR EVERYONE

Traffic and pollution, infrastructure deficit, rupture of the social fabric, economic inefficiency, invasion of ecological reserves, health affectations, stress, violence, are only some of the consequences of Mexico City’s lack of planning
In order to develop strategies to achieve the city to which all of us citizens aspire, 3 challenges were put forth based on collaboration and citizen action:

  1. Learning to live in a centralized manner to shorten distances, which contributes to improving quality of life in general
  2. Making safer, walkable, accessible neighborhoods with a sense of belonging to prevent crime
  3. Participate proactively joining efforts among citizens, governments, and private initiative to bring life back to the neighborhoods and achieve that city that we all want: equitable, safe, and happy.
